Yes, there are a few challenges here, usually, it all comes down to the type of exfoliator you use.
I like to prepare my own since I knew what ingredients I am using. Thus, for this recipe, you will need:
– 1 cup of coffee
– 2 tbsp. of coconut oil
– 1/2 tbsp. of cinnamon
– 1 cup of sugar
Now, let’s make the scrub. Put the 2 tbsp. of coconut oil in a pot and heat it in a double boiler, stirring gently until the whole oil is melted, and allow it to cool down a bit. Then, mix into 1 cup coffee powder, 1 Cup Sugar, and 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon. Make sure to mix all ingredients together and pure it in an airtight container.
Of course, you could apply this however you feel like. For better results, I would like to suggest applying it for at least 2- 3 times a week. You can do the application either in the shower or in your own room. If you chose the latter, make sure you also place a towel underneath because it can stain other materials.
The mixture of coffee and sugar really acts as an exfoliator, while the coconut oil will make your skin soft and moisturized. This works amazingly well, you should try it and see for yourself!
