Acne is the most common skin disorder that seriously affects the skin. And, besides the proper skin’s care you have to apply daily, you have to introduce in your beauty routine facial steam baths. These steam baths rejuvenate your skin making it look fresher, and they also help reducing stress and facial fatigue.
For the steam bath you need a large towel and a bowl. You have to pour in the bowl 2 liters of boiling water and 2 drops of lavender essential oil. Cover your head with the towel and apply a face cream around the eyes area. Bend the head above the bowl but at a distance of no more than 30 – 45 cm from the water. You have to stay in the steam for about 15 minutes then rinse your face with lukewarm water.
For normal skin – take facial steam baths once a week for 7 minutes.
For oily skin – 3 times a week for 12 minutes
For mixt skin – once every 2 weeks for 10 minutes
