Sweat glands, excessively stimulated, produce excessive underarm sweating. Medical speaking, excessive sweating isn’t a major health problem, but it can trigger discomfort, both physically and mentally.
The great news is that you can get rid of this smelly problem with natural remedies.
1. Alum stone deodorant
Alum stone is a salt crystal, odorless which doesn’t inhibit perspiration, but prevents bacteria from developing and the unpleasant smell to appear. It doesn’t irritate the skin being a cheap and effective antiperspirant. Apply it after bathing, as long as the skin is still wet.
2. Wear cotton clothes
Those who suffer from excessive sweating must wear cotton clothing. Synthetic clothes favor excessive sweating and also the bad odor.
3. Wash the underarm area with baking soda
Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 liters of water and wash the underarm area. Repeat this procedure every night, before bedtime.
4. Use essential lavender oil
You can add 5 drops of essential lavender oil in your tube when your bathing or you can rub the underarm area with it, before bathing. Lavender oil will reduce the production of sweat glands.
